Savory Fruit Salad

I love making savory fruit salads with summer fruit, especially cantaloupe, watermelon, and peaches.
While calling this a “recipe” is maybe a stretch, here’s the general formula:

Slice the fruit and lay it across a serving plate. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle it with flaky salt and black pepper.
Add something salty, like crispy prosciutto or speck.
Add something creamy, like fresh mozzarella, feta, or goat cheese.
Add a fresh herb, like basil, dill, mint, or cilantro.
Drizzle with more olive oil and good balsamic vinegar. Top with a little more flaky salt and black pepper.
Feel free to mix it up! Add hot peppers, chili crisp, olives, other veggies, nuts, etc.
